The Ankler and Backstage kick off a new TV-focused Screening Series in collaboration with launch partners Disney+ and Marvel Studios, featuring Tom Hiddleston.
Post screening, Tom Hiddleston will dissect Loki's evolution in the MCU, the craft of resurrecting his character for the Disney+ series, and what it means for Loki to possess free will and a - most certainly - glorious purpose.
Leading up to Hiddleston's participation at the April 12th event, Disney is hosting daily screenings (April 8th - April 11th) at Frank G. Wells Theater to celebrate the journey of Loki’s character, beginning with THOR.

2021 saw the launch of Disney+’s LOKI, followed by a second season (unique for Marvel television projects) in 2023. As well as delivering a critically acclaimed performance, Tom served as a producer on the show. LOKI was a huge hit for Disney+, becoming the most viewed Marvel television project to date. For his work, Tom won the People’s Choice Award for Male TV Star of 2021, as well the Kid’s Choice Award for Favourite Male TV Star and Critic’s Choice Award for Best Actor in a Superhero Series in 2022. LOKI Season 2 won Best Fantasy/Sci-Fi Show at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards.
